Can you tell I'm off today?

First thing this morning we hit up thrift shops and I scored with 2 teacups and saucers, 2 coffee cups, a candlestick and a very nice black dress with about 15" of fringe on the bottom.  Great for another halloween costume.  The two teacups and one coffee cup will be pincushions along with the candlestick.  The candle stick will be a base for another maniquin pin cushion.  I'll post photos of them as I get them done.

I did a bit of planting today after playing in my studio most of the day.  I planted a couple of desert willows, one that Tom at work gave me and the other two were started from seeds.  I have cuttings of silver lace vine in the greenhouse that seem to be doing okay and putting on new leaves.  I also moved a couple of virginia creeper vines that the birds planted for me.  I've been playing with quilted postcards again and have done a couple of swaps recently.  I made a bunch of sewing themed cards and then joined a swap to use them and couldn't find them so had to start all over.  I eventually found them so now have extra's.  I also did a dog card swap.  Below are the results.
