Remember when we used to fold Reader's Digests and make either green Christmas trees out of them or angels by adding a head and wings? The phone book throwers went by a couple of weeks ago and threw me small phone books. Since I have two gates people always throw me two of everything. I made use out of mine.
I went through my Christmas ornaments as we took down the tree. I had about a dozen that the finishe was coming off of so I saved them. I took about 8 colors of Christmas fabric and cut a strip and took my rotary cutter and rolled back and forth to make smaller pieces. Stephanie and I spent a good Kodak moment Modge Podging the fabric onto the balls. They look much better and will go nicely on my tall skinny I put in my studio at Christmas. A totally quilty theme! Hey, it's almost time to get up!
