Tuesday again

I'm still here wide awake, just read a blog about a bike and how she heard a noise with it on the back of her car in the bike rack and when she got home the bike was loose.  Speaking of loose, I need to get mine checked as while riding last weekend, the chain came off the sprocket, got jammed inbetween the sprocket and frame and I had to flip it upside down and undo it.  The left gears aren't shifting right and it acts like it is in-between gears.  It keeps skipping, guess it needs to go in for a tune-up or something.
You should of seen us in the trailhead parking lot trying to get all the bikes to fit in the back of my truck.  It was even funnier to see me trying to get them to fit all by myself.  Before we left, I put my bike in and tried to get it to stand up so I could put the second one in.  Wouldn't stay, so I undid the locking chain and attached it to the clothes pole we have at the front of the truck.  It then slipped a foot to the way I did not want it to go, so had to unlock and retighten it up.  Okay, this is where the problem comes in:  I wear bifocals, try seeing high when the close up is on the BOTTOM of the glasses, right, it was a total pain in the ass.  I finally got it, then was trying to cram my nieces bike in when hubby finally came out to help.  Second bike in and strapped to the side.  Then we got to my sisters house and her bike is bigger than ours and would not fit.  Thus the trip to her hubbies work so he could show us how to do the UN-quick release on the front tire.  Okay, finally on our way.
Then after the ride it looked like a traffic accident behind my truck as we had bikes all over in pieces trying to get them in the truck the easiest way.  They ended in upside down and reversed to fit right then I used a tie strap to hold them in.  Looked much nicer that way and took less time once we figured out how to use the UN-quick release for the front tires.
