Anole Update

We got the lid done, the lights on, yes, on, Steve didn't want them just sitting on top so he screwed them to his wood piece.  To change the light we will have to unscrew them from the lid but this way if our cats get curious they can't knock the light off.
I finished doing the planting and got all the supplies I need and we let the tank sit for a day to make sure the tempuratures were right.  They were, so yesterday we met at Petsmart and selected a green anole, and between the four of us we decided to get a bahaman anole, also, for double the entertainment.  I'm pretty sure the green is a female because her reflection in the glass doesn't bother her, the brown one makes faces at himself and does push ups.  I had the two youngest grandkids to help when we bought them and when we named them.  We ended up with Stone for the green one and Stix for the brown one.  Stone because of how still she sits and Stix because the brown one blends in with the wood branches.  They must not have been hungry when I bought them because we watched a cricket walk all over them and neither one ate it.
