Thursday in time and spring is here!

Okay, yesterday at work I only had to wear one layer, the day before I wore two layers, the day before that I had 3 layers on.  Hmm, I'm sensing a trend, it's definitely warming up.  Three days ago it was snowing here, yesterday it was 70 degrees.
I want to show the ring my son bought me.  He bought me a mothers ring it is absolutely beautiful.

Left to right, Chris, Amber, Bryan, and Rachel.  There is a small diamond setting on each end for looks but I have a stone for all four of my kids.

I'm off the next four days and I have some yard work to do.  Last week we trimmed one of our mulberries, it hasn't been trimmed in over 20 years and was over due.  Looks much better now.  Today, I need to trim up the remainder of my roses about 25 maybe and take the banks rose and a virginia creeper off the side fence so we can put the pool siding along the bottom.  They do not take care of their weeds and when they mowed last year they pushed the foxtails into my yard and my dog stuck her head in them and $100 later we got the two foxtails out, one had pierced her ear drum.  So, we are going to fix the problem...

I also have a couple of six packs to plant (flowers not beer)  and some plants to add to my hanging pots.  I'm hoping to get Steven to dig the hole for a loquat tree I've had in the greenhouse also today or tomorrow.  I dug up and potted six of my apricot seedlings and it looks like they are going to make it so will get the other half dug up and transplanted in the next two days also, then it's off to Phoenix for the weekend for the Scottish Highland Festival on Saturday and shopping at hiking stores on Sunday before coming home.  What fun! Oh, and my hair is getting a new look this afternoon.  I can't wait to see how it turns out.  I haven't done this since my neighbors wedding and the people at the chapel asked if I was her mother.  :)
