Our lake trip turned out okay and there were 9 of us total. Now we know our boat sleeps nine for sure one on the back deck, two on the front deck, one on each of the three benches and three on the floor. We caught five trout or I should rephrase that Chris and the girls caught the fish.
The boat got trashed, there were way too many ice chests, too many people and we had a blast.
We bought the fabric for the couch previously on my other days off. Yesterday we ventured out to take it out to do. I was panicked there for a bit, but lots of photos, two of us taking apart, we did ok. The seat part is now put back together and we have the back, one side, and the front piece to still cover. When we put the bench part back in the motor home I realized that all the trim is the same color as the couch was so it will all be coming down and getting recovered, too. That will be easy peasy compared to the couch.
Got more veggies from the garden and I tied up the tomatillo's and tomato plants, they were sagging all over the place. This is my first time for growing tomatillo's and I didn't know the paper outside made a balloon first an then the fruit filled the inside. They are kind of fun.
Okay, off to work on the side piece for the couch, it is the easy part that I can do while Steve is still in bed.
P.S. Fireworks were great as usual and out bucket of KFC was also great as usual!
