While Steve drove I sewed the binding down on this quilt. It is a lap throw about 60"x60" square. It was a quilt group project that they won't see because I'm giving it to Shelley at work because she gave me two large bags of fabric and so, I made it for her. Most of the fabrics in the quilt are ones she gave me.
Yesterday we had the normal running around to do: some groceries, dog food, chicken feed, and dropped off the plastic recycleables because my bin was full. Had to buy a new band saw blade again, I go through them a bit. It was ticking which usually means it will break soon. I know my band saw very well. :) I spent all afternoon cutting out the next several projects. I have enough projects to probably take us through winter now ready. I also made a grocery bag out of my chicken feed bag. I found the idea at http://fresh-eggs-daily.blogspot.com/ If I had seen the idea before I threw away my first bag I could have said it was my first bag, but since I didn't this is my second bag. I also folded it one fold off for the center so the bag is skewed a bit but that's okay, it will still hold a lot and probably last forever!
