Chicks are here!

The post office called me at 6:15 am to tell my the chicks were in but left me no instructions.  I asked the girl when the PO opened at 8:30 am, could I have come at that time to pick them up?  She said, I suppose you could have gone around back and pushed the buzzer, someone is here at that time.  I said, well, someone called me at that time...
Anyway, I had one casualty, one of the Red Stars was DOA when I opened the box but the rest are fine.  We found a couple of bugs on Stephanie last night after holding the big kids so today are diatomaceous earthing the box and the chicks after picking up a couple of pounds of food grade.
The Polish chicks are huge compared to the new kids but all are getting along fine.  They had the green chick stuff ate by the time the day was over.  My neighbor has already came over and got his, Amber will get hers today, and then I'll send a note to the other lady to her know to come and get hers.
