The Chicken Cam will be back up and running today. It came back from repairs late yesterday. I will be happy, I like checking on them while I'm gone. I really enjoy the inside one, too, so I can check on them from inside the house. I've been going out and closing the pop door every night and opening every morning since it has been so cold. Sassy has been trying to get away with sleeping outside on the ladder and I've had to put her inside twice this week. I did add a couple of cement blocks to the run area that I see she's always standing on. I think she thinks if she's up, no one will see her.
Diller is still sporting the apron and it is holding up just fine. I criss crossed the elastic and it is working much better than just the elastic going under the wing and behind like the original design showed. Also, I love the sweater, it is working nicely for Hazel. She is still sporting it. I need to make a few for Sandy, whose chickens are sporting a lot of skin. Why would they molt at the coldest time of the year?
