Dorsett Apple Tree

I had previously bought an Anna Apple tree a couple of years ago hoping that someone else close had a pollinator.  Then I bought a Pink Lady Apple which self pollinates but it still blooms at a different time than the Anna.  I need a Ein Shemer or a Dorsett Golden.  So in the fall I ordered a Dorsett Golden and it came the first week of Dec.  Said to store in a cool, dry place until I can plant.  I put it in my closet when I got it after opening and taking a peek.

So yesterday I go into my closet to put laundry away and there is my tree!  I had totally forgotten about it!  I have this dwarf nectarine that was in front with the other two apples and my apricot and it has been in the ground over four years.  It came out and got into a pot and the new apple tree in it's place with Miracle Grow Tree & Shrub mixed in with the old dirt.  Hopefully it will grow wonderfully in the spring and do it's job in the next few years.  I love juicing the apples and I'll have my own to do it with.
