Time flies but not chickens

I've been out of town a lot, thanks to my husband for being my rock and letting me wander around the country.  He took care of my girls both times.  They are doing fine.  I did a coop clean and gave them new straw and cleaned the egg boxes out and freshened them up.  My Buff Orpington seems to think she's going to sleep in one of the egg boxes so I've been putting pots in the opening so she can't get in and going out in the morning and taking them out.  I don't know why she's doing it after a year.  The two new ones are doing great, Bossy is very smart, she can get into the flower bed, she runs through when I toss food and grabs a piece of whatever it is and never slows down.  She's very fun to watch and entertaining.  So much better than fish :)
Molting has not hit me yet but my daughter has complained in the homesteading group.  Says hers have all lost feathers and not laying.  Hmmm, mine are still all feathered so time will tell.  I just remembered I need to hit up the feed store today as my coupons expire after today!
