I picked up my kids yesterday. They hollered for
about 10 minutes then were quiet all the rest of the 3 hour ride. I put the dog
carrier inside the goat house because they were used to sleeping in one in their
run. I went out to check on them after it got dark and they were in the goat
house up on the highest shelf so I took out the kennel this morning.
I am bottle feeding first thing in the morning and again around 6 pm. They are getting a mix of whole milk and half and half. She had already started them on it before I picked them up to make the transition easier.

I had to add roofing to the ramps we attached to
the kids cube because they just slid when they tried to go up it. They hollered
a little while ago, they have been pretty quiet. I wanted to give them some
probiotics since they had nothing different in their pen at their previous home
and in my yard they have all kinds of leaves and sticks to eat. Make it easier
on their tummy for the change. I cheated and put the paste in their nipple and
put water in their bottles and they sucked it right down. They played for a bit
and now have settled down again. I love how they are happy to see me, okay,
it's probably just the bottle effect, but I love them already!
Introducing on the left, Dahlia Star, whom should get a bit darker, and on the right is Dakota Moon. The white on the top of her head looked like a big cactus Dahlia before disbudding thus the name. Their parents had star and moon in their names somewhere so I added them to mine.
