We tried a baby gate across the back seat but smarty Dahlia came through the hole in the side and Dakota soon followed. Steve then used a metal shelf that had been a layer in our pond filter. He cut it to fit the back over the seat, then he put that blue water hose on the top edge so it wouldn't cut my roof liner. We then painted it black. The front lip of the shelf goes under the head rests and we have small bungie cords holding it in. They ride very well back there. :)
