Catching Up

I have wound fabric around two more 50' lengths of rope for more bowls.  I've sold two of my bowls so far.  One to one of my paint students and one at a local craft show yesterday.  The new bowls are white, pink, and red and the second one is black, red, and some brown.  I still have lots of strips to do and one more length of rope to wrap into two 50' sections.

My 5" red, white, and blue squares are now made into blocks and in a planning stage now.  I have red star and blue star pieces of fabric for borders but I think I want to put stars in the cross sections of yellow or white to make them really pop.  They are going to be table runners and I have five individual pieces that are going to be mug rugs for July4th/Summer.  I am going to add a section onto one side and put a slice of watermelon on it.
