I bought this Spindolyn and got the tall base. I wanted a floor base so we made one out of a spindle and got the brass tubing at True Value to put in the middle of the leg we used for the spindle below.

I saw this for sale on the AZ Fiber Facebook page and hopped on it. I just can't get the feel for hand carders and this was a decent price so bought it.
