The Time Has Come

My kids (as in goats) are a year old this month.  We are getting ready for a trip to Buckeye where they will both stay for about a month.  They both have to make the trip because Dahlia is getting bred and Dakota can't stay alone.  He would not be happy.  We are going back to my breeder, Sheri, at:

I have researched bloodlines and have decided to go with this buck.
Castle Rock Farmer In The Dell *B *S"Farmer" DOB 2/21/15
Belted Chocolate Buckskin
He has great milk lines.  I have her in heat schedule all written out, I have a bag of timothy/alfalfa pellets ready to go and two buckets of chaffehaye ready.
I could wait a week or so to take them down, but we are going to the Renaissance Festival and already making the trip so she said I could drop them off then so I don't have to make a second trip.
We just sent in testing and got it back both of my goats are disease free, not that I had a doubt. :)

INFO on his mom from Castle Rock's website:
GCH CRF Castle Rock Siren Song 3*M 3*D VEEE 90
DOB 3/19/09 height 20 3/4"
Siren, much like her sisters Lia and Lupe, spent much of her first outting as a junior in the show ring making strong attempts at bipedalism, and did this again as a first freshening two year old. Fortunately, she eventually got used to the show ring, and managed to walk on all four feet long enough to finish her championship. She has freshened with a very capacious udder that has excellent texture (like buttah!), a strong medial, high rear, smooth fore, plumb teats, and is socked on everywhere. She has improved dairy character over her dam, a nice front end assembly, and is deep in the heel with short, high pasturns. She is always determined to get her share of attention when out in the barn yard, and usually walks up and stops right in front of me with an expression of "Ta-da! I have arrived!" on her face.
