Update on UFO's and WIP's

I've gotten a couple of things off my list.  I have three of my own quilts to get quilted and still have one for my daughter but that requires a trip to Bullhead City and I'm going on vacation in a week and a half so no time.
Items given to me.
  • Jean's quilt pieces and started blocks called "The Spin"
  • Sandy's quilt passed on to me, it looks like "Trip Around the World" but is done in half square triangles.
  • Then we get to my WIP's:
    • Spinning Rails which is our class project- the top is done and needs quilted
    • Farm Girl Vintage-This will be in the works for a while as I'm making the 6" blocks and only working on it now and then.
    • Moda's "Summer Sorbet" from the book Fresh Fabric Treats X2 - One top is done and I just need to put the blocks together for the second, then quilt them.   It is a great way to use up 5" squares.
    • "Bloom" Sew along.  I just got the pieces to make this.  It is going on vacation with me along with:
    • Redwork Chickens - I downloaded and printed various chicken designs and have them ironed onto 9" muslin squares.
    • Brick Quilt - this is the oldest thing I have in the cupboard.  I use it for a leader/ender project and have actually made one quilt out of most of the pieces.  This one is using blue/green/purple pieces in the black bricks.
    • I have the pattern here that I'm itching to start called "Perpetual Motion" that has a girl on a bike that is Steam Punk but I have to finish others before I even start this one! :)
