At the Vet Again

The tick saga gets worse...
So, it was over a week ago that we found ticks and had them removed.  I'll be honest, I didn't ask questions like are we done?  Do I need to do anything else?
The Thursday after the ticks were removed we went for our second set of shots at Petco where TLC Vet comes and does the shots.  It is usually quick and not a lot of waiting.  They also did the first set and never saw the ticks when they looked in her ears.  I tell them that we found ticks and then I got questioned.  They didn't give you a treatment?  No.  They didn't tell you to come back in two weeks and have her checked?  No.  You should bomb your house.  What?
So, they sold me a one time treatment and had me put it on the following week.  I put it on her neck about 6:30 am on Monday morning.  This is tricky, I can't let her around my cats so she was either locked  in the craft room with me, or I had them locked in the bedroom.  Away from each other for 24 hours because the tick medicine is deadly to cats.
Around 8:00pm, she threw up.  I think, one time, so about an hour later I give her a bit more food.  It came back up later.  We go to bed, she throws up all over.  We go to the living room so Steve can sleep.  She drank water around midnight and threw it up.  Then around 4:30 am drank more and threw it up.  I never thought to take it away.  Wouldn't she get more dehydrated if she has no water.
Oh, I washed the stuff off hair around 6 pm the night she got sick because it was oily looking and dirty.  During the night she would be shivering and she would sleep with me on the couch for a bit and when she stopped I'd put her back on the dog bed next to the couch.
She also had diarrhea which luckily she went outside to do.  She drank some water before we left.         I'm waiting at my normal vet office for when they open.  Of course, I had to wait a bit.
She got poked, prodded, and more.  They did a PARVO test of which I waited in the waiting room.  I was so scared.  That test came back negative.  She then got a shot for her stomach, one for the diarrhea, and since she was dehydrated after all an iv fluid put under the skin on her shoulder.  She is much better today.
So, hopefully the one time tick stuff killed any eggs or whatever since it almost killed her.  They said I did what I was supposed to do, I was feeling so guilty because I poisoned her.  I had a stomach ache all night long and diarrhea from the worry.
Yesterday after lunch of which she held down we took a nap.  On the bed when my husband came home from work was me, Molly, Tipsy-shitzu, and two cats.  It was a long night.  We all slept on the couch the night before.
One last thing:  She had an appointment for today to get spayed and dew claws removed but I think she's been through enough for one week.
