Thread catchers and yard work

I made nine of these and I filled the pin cushion part with crushed walnut shells.  I followed the pattern by Man Sewing.

I've been making these in the morning before I head outside to do yard work.  I'll post pics of that later.  My one rose bed has been overgrown with grass and daylilies so I spent most of the day yesterday cleaning it.  Also still on baby goat watch.  She's due in either 3 days or a week and who knows inbetween.
