Pomegranate Pressing

I had a friend gift me with a bucket of pomegranates.  Another friend had this wonderful press, it is actually a citrus press.  It worked awesome.  I used my bread knife to cut the pomegranates in half, place half in the press.

You then pull the handle down and the press smashes all the juice out and it goes down into the bowl.

You then raise the press, take out the shell and throw away.  I got 3- 48 oz. Glad containers full of juice.  It is in the freezer for later.
