I bought pillow case kits at the quilt shop in Lake Havasu last fall and I got home and opened them up and it was one case in each bag. I stupidly thought it was a pair in each bag. I went back in November and bought another pair to match each previous case. I did a great job. The green ones were supposed to be a set. The monkey fabric was in both but in different places. They were for my nieces Christmas present, but I just finally finished them. They are still cute. I then finished the red/white/blue set. At least they are an exact match.
The directions were hard to understand and after reading them, Steve reading them, it finally clicked what it was talking about. These are the easiest pillow cases I have ever made. I'll be making more and the girls in my quilt classes want to make some, too. We'll have a pillow case making day when we get bored with making the next quilt.
