We're getting ready to head to Phx for the Scottish Highland Festival but before I go I'm going to post photos of the mug mats I have. I received one in trade and the second one is the one I made and sent back. They are approximately 7" x 9" and roll up with a tie. I'd never heard of them before so joined to make the small size.
Hers came from Australia and it was kind of cool because she said she was here on vacation and went through here and went to the Grand Canyon.
I thought Mug Rug should have a coffee feel to it so I paper pieced mine as a coffee cup and used my coffee themed fabric.
I added a tie and button like she did so it would roll up. Loved the idea!
