Visitors

Cheryl and her husband, Herb came to visit yesterday.  They saw the Chicken Cam and wanted to know how we set it up to see on the camera system.  I told them to come by and visit and Steve could show them how he did it and so we had visitors.  Cheryl has the same chickens that I have and hers are a couple of months older than mine and she says they are twice the size of mine.   We had a nice visit and did a nickel tour of the house and yard.
On a chicken note: the girls all go to bed at night.  Their house has a 3 rung perch and they all go up to the top perch.  They hardly fit and I get a kick out of watching them squeeze in.  Sooner or later they will have to drop down to the second rung.  On the other hand, they will keep each other warm all squeezed onto the top rung but seriously, if they get twice as big as they are now?  They will never all fit on the top, but it is hilarious to watch now because there is always a straggler and she sits below stretching her neck this way and that looking for just a sliver of space and goes for it.  The other night one went up and a couple of others rolled off, it was too funny to watch.
