New Girls!

Ran around today doing shopping, shipping, and to Havasu Heights to pick up three more chickens.  I found them on Craig's List.  The ad said Auracana's for $10 and Red Stars for $25.  I got there and she only charged me $5 each.  I came home with one Red Star and two Auracana's which are still getting feathers back after moulting.  The Red Star picked on the one all the way home and they did not get along with the others or should I say: my girls were not happy with the newcomers.  We ended up dividing the coop in half for now until they get used to each other as the originals kept picking on the bare backs of the new ones.  I left the Red Star with the old girls and the two Auracana's are in the divided section.  They have a covered cat box with pine shavings and one of the water spouts and grabbed a mason jar feeder for them some food in the meantime.  When they get feathers back in and/or all healed up I'll let them roam.  I'll get a few photo's later. :)
