Busy Wednesday

I am off the next three days but today will be the longest.  Steve and I are going to Dolan Springs with Team Depot to fix a Vet's roof and porch.  I have no idea of what it will entail or how long we'll be there but probably all day.  This will be my first venture with the Team.   We are taking my car and Rhonda and her hubby are riding with us and we will fill the back up with tools that will fit.

I'm painting double sided welcome signs to go in a plant stand for my booth.  It is one thing I'll not do again.  They are taking much longer to paint than planned.  But, they are going to be awesome when I get done.

I also need to get my grandson's birthday present remailed while I'm off.  He requested an electric scooter.  I call them skateboards on a stick but it is electric.  I don't see him that often so spoil him when I can.  I can't wait to see how much it will cost to ship it to Rachel's APOAE address since it weighs 35 pounds.

Yesterday morning before going to work I brought in all my stevia and planted five cuttings.  Hope they take so I will have more for next spring.  I washed and got all the leaves and flowers off the stems and they are in a roaster pan.  If not drying well by tonight I'll get out the dehydrator and put them in it to dry.  From what I've read you then stuff all the dry leaves in a jar and cover them with Vodka and let steep for a month or so, then separate the leaves from the vodka.  We'll see.  I also have coop cleaner brewing and just picked up the stuff to make home made antibiotic salve.  Fun, fun!  I also need to make a new batch of laundry soap.  The last batch has lasted about 3 months.  For under $10, too!
