Our local fire has been burning since Sat. night. It is terrible and we keep having high winds that just make it go farther. Our beloved Hualapai's are disappearing and people who live up there have been evacuated and are at the local high school. Pets are at the local vets and the fairgrounds are housing larger animals. From down here where I live at night it is a long red glow where the fire is. I know fire is sometimes needed to rejuvenate but in the meantime trees are getting ate up by fire. It is burning in an almost inaccessible area where there are no roads.
