This has been crazy. I'm not sure the young men (whom I will not call "boys" which they are) who are doing the work here really know what they are doing. Starting out they drilled out holes and made these huge holes and then squared them up, I have no idea of why because the square part is sitting way above ground. They didn't fill in the holes and tamp so they were only 2' deep. They did not use the round cement tubes that we sell at HD or they would not have used 40 bags of cement to fill the holes. They came with 29 bags and had to go buy more for the last three holes. I just don't understand. I'm just a GIRL and I know the cement tubes would have been more cost efficient and the cement would have filled the tubes and not a huge hole. :) I did get the driveway fixed and the gas line is now flush against the house and strapped into place now. The cement work is all done and now to wait for inspection again.
This used to be where my walkway to the side door was. It will have to be rethought.
The gas line now efficiently put against the wall.
