Weaving

Yeah, like I need another hobby but it is fun!  I bought this cheap beginners Peg Loom at Amazon to see if I'd like it and I played with it tonight.  The original little loom makes something the size of a mug mat.  I started it and finished it tonight.  Here is the original loom shot, Stephanie can use this one for a while and see if she likes it.

 

Here is my little piece I made tonight.  It needs fringe but it is getting late and I need to go to bed. :)

Last night I ordered the Ashford Sample-It Loom on E-Bay.  I got a great deal on it and free shipping and no interest if paid for in 6 months.
I have used the round looms to make scarves and hats.  They are big and bulky, this little loom will make nice thin skinny scarves and I think I'll love doing it.  A great take it with you project.
 I spent the afternoon watching videos on how to do it and it looks like a lot of fun and should make nice scarves for Christmas presents, look out grand kids!  No teddy bears this year!
