Canning Tomatoes

 
 
A friend's family have a farm in Utah and they bring down fruit and veggies to sell in big batches.  We grabbed a box of apples a couple of weeks ago and this week got my sister a case of peaches.  I opted for tomatoes.  We have a hard time finding the no salt tomatoes so we processed them, removing the skins and chopped them up and canned them.  They have to be in sterilized jars and then cooked under water for an hour and 35 minutes.  I now wish we had bought more because we got seven jars out of it but aren't they beautiful?
