Coop Cam & Laying

We have been having camera troubles with the coop cam.  It was doing weird things, it would look around on it's own, then reboot and start over.  Go on normally, then look around, turn off and on once again.  I bought it at Amazon and they are wonderful about returns,  and sent out a new one asap.  Steve installs it and here it is doing it once again.  Our other camera's are the same exact model.  Okay, what's up with that?
He went to a Foscam site and reads up, this years version has a glitch.  Why aren't they fixed?  We are returning it to Foscam so they can FLASH it or what ever and fix the glitch.  Very disheartening since the camera's are $100 to start each.  Thus, our Chicken Cam for outside is now offline and it has been moved to inside the coop for the Coop Cam.  I've been keeping watch on the nest boxes to see who is laying.  Two of my new girls are laying now, Lucy, the Red Star, and Buffy, my Buff Orpington.  The other two which are: Racer, a Speckled Sussex, and Miss Daisy, the Black Australorp should be laying soon.  I know the two Polish will lay when they are ready and sporadically, I got them for fun, knowing they wouldn't be great layers.
Lucy has been laying over a week and has laid darker brown than the Barred Rocks eggs and Buffy laid her first yesterday and it was smaller than Lucy's eggs, but it was her first.  Lucy has already laid me a double yolker and it was our first one here at Rockin' Chick Hotel.
