Solar Structure

My husband spent the couple of days before our wonderful rain putting a side panel on the solar structure aka boat cover.  He brought the sides down about a foot with 2x4's and plywood stained to match.  He wanted to make it solid in-between the beams.  The plan now is to put 6' sunshade fabric on each side now.  It will protect the boat cover and boat from the sun and keep cats from going from the house roof to the boat top and vice versa.  It has rained a few days so when it dries up we will get to work on the shade cloth which we've had for about 6 months along with the metal attachment pieces.
I've tried to get a good view of the sides.  The first photo is without the sides.

This one shows the addition down to the bottom of the side beams.  Now it is a straight shot across with the shade cloth and no cutting around the beams.  Other than a million trips up the ladder this was the best way to do it.  More to come!
