Another HYPERTUFA pot in the works

I mixed up twice as much mix as last time but I did not use cement color in this batch.  I mix the peat moss and Portland first and then add the perlite.  I am using a two foot long rectangular pot this time and I used a black plastic bag on the inside because I ran out of oil spray.  I also had to mix up more because I ran out before I finished the last long side.  I used a block of 2"x4" to pack it in instead of my hands like I watched others do.  It worked very well and the sturdy pot to begin with helps.  The bed pan I used for the first one was flimsy.

The mix on my potting bench.  I started outside on a table but it was too windy.

The mold and black plastic.

A shot of where I ran out and had to mix more.

The finished molding.  It was put inside a black plastic bag two days ago.  I will open it up today and take it out of the mold and clean it up and then back in the bag it goes for two weeks unveiling.
