It has been a busy time, we have been off camping for 10 days, I've made several new scarves and a ton of earrings for my booth and I made some chunky bracelets. No, I don't have pictures. We set up our booth for the Kingman Cancer Fair yesterday. It took 3 hours, the weather is hot! Well, 80 degrees at this time of year is hot. :) It is supposed to be a nice weekend and hopefully I sell a bunch of stuff.
I have been working on Christmas presents and learning to use the spinning wheel. I have almost spun my first pound of Romney which I got as a bonus with the wheel. I took my first two spools after plying down to The Spinster and used her dye bucket and it is a light sage green. Kind of pretty. I tried to teach myself to knit and after a while, I quit, I just don't think I'm cut out for it. I can crochet if showed how to do certain stitches so I guess I'll stick with that until maybe in Quartzsite when Nancy can show me the finer points! :)
For now I need to get my Christmas presents finished up, all the grown ups are getting hand made this year. I'll buy for the kids.
