We spent another day coop cleaning, we have cleaned and sprayed inside for three weeks now. This time did deeper and bleached the inside and scrubbed all. Raked everything out of the run, scrubbed the water pan, and added new straw to inside and pine shavings to egg boxes. Hopefully we have kicked the bug process.
I have two new chickens from my daughter. When I got my Polish, Diller, I got three. It is way back in my archives. I originally got three and we had to put one down because it had cross beak really bad. Anyway, my daughter has decided to get rid of her chickens so I took her Polish back, whom was named Puffhead by her daughters and a young Rhode Island Red that came from and abandoned house. She originally had four but 3 got out and her dogs killed them.
I am now up to 15. The two I got from her are segregated to a section of the coop. My Polish has no feathers on her head so I'm thinking of putting her on the other side of the pen with the new ones and let some feathers come in. They have been here over a week now.
