In My World

I have been busy, between paint class on Monday night (changing to Friday), quilt classes here on Thursday and Friday not a lot of time and I've not included Garden Club.
I have 2 quilts I've been working on, I got one quilt quilted that my EX's wife, Fawn, sent down for Amber and family.  I got one quilted and had just started on the second one when the check spring on Elvira broke.  I have two more ordered and on the way so it is on hold.

Meanwhile, I've been thinking of what I could contribute as a donation to this years Annual Luncheon for Cerbat Garden Club.  I have a picnic basket that I got for nearly nothing that I painted the lid to look like an Adobe house.  I have fabric with Indian pottery and another with hieroglyphics on it so I decided to make a picnic quilt to go with the basket.  I will add paper plates, silverware, and maybe a bottle of wine and plastic wine glasses to go with it.

This is the first finished quilt from Fawn that is for Karlee.

Here is the quilt I'm working on for the picnic quilt.  It still needs a dark red border but I'll have to look for fabric to use for it.
