Quilt for Terri

Terri is a member of Quilting Friends.  She and her other half are moving to Texas.  He already is there working and she's cleaning house and getting ready to move.  She started our little Quilting Friends group many years ago.  When there is a life changing event she has always had the group make something for that person.  When my sister died they made me a little wall hanging, when my mom died they made me a flannel rag throw.  So, since she is leaving the group in my hands we all made blocks for a quilt for her.
I decided on red, white, and blue for the whole American theme.  I've had them sign blocks but a few did not so will have to have them signed later.  I had 16 blocks for starters and decided to make the four friendship star blocks in the corners.  I have a large piece of red and white striped cotton that I will use for the backing.  Marilyn is making one more block and I'm going to use it as a label on the back.  I'm still trying to decide what to write.  Something to the tune of: From Quilting Friends and over the many years our friendship has grown, this quilt is a collaboration from the members for Terri H. and the four friendship stars around the outside encase our friendship.
