The New Goatie Porch

They love the outdoor patio we built for them.  They lounge around on it in the morning and evening but not in the middle of the day.  Our weather here has been on/off cold and warm.  It will level out soon.  We do need to attach the bench to the side of the shed because they use it to scratch on and they move it around. 
Yesterday we added lattice from the roof to the fence railing.  The vine should swing around and cover it and they will have more shade and snacks.  It is a silver lace vine, it is very rampant and covers well and I hardly ever water it.
I also rearranged the goat room around with help.  I had the milk stand on the left side and I couldn't get to their heads so I wanted it along the back wall.  I tried and tried and had goats on and off while I was trying to move things around and finally had to have Steve come and help as we had to tip it on it's side to get the head bars under the roof beam to turn it side ways.  Now I have easier access to faces to get bolusing done.
I gave them both copper bolus last week and that was an adventure but after several wasted pills finally got one down Dakota.  I am going to shave and give both a bath when it ever stays warm.
I have to give CD/T this week, I'm really looking forward to that!
