2016 NAPgA Rendy

I had a great time  at the goat rendy.  I wish I could have taken my goats.  Hopefully next year I'll be able to go.  I went to every class, talked to almost everyone.   Classes: hoof trimming, pack goat loading, dehydrating food and I learned a lot.
Everyone had a different way to keep their goats contained.  A couple came from Vermont and have had their two ober/saans for 3 years, they go everywhere with them.  They have a pop up camper and the goats travel in the back of the truck in a camper shell.  When in camp they are in the gazebo that tractor supply sells, they each have their own.  I like this idea well and will save up for one.
Another couple brought out an electric fence and set it up and put an ez-up in the middle for cover.  Others either high lined or low lined their goats.  Some were just in cages.  A couple others had small trailers for the goats and put a fence in a loop at the back of the trailer.
People from all over came to pick up kids from three different sellers that came to the Rendy.  They all stayed the night or a couple after doing business.
Everyone was friendly and my favorite goat came the last day, she was a mini lamancha and she was beautiful and sweet.  I took several pic's of her.
