The coop got cleaned, poop boards scooped and new Sweet PDZ put on them. I'm leaving the big door open because it is HOT! We have been turning the mister on during the day to cool it off since it has been about 108 degrees.
I've let them stay out of the pen today but I still have their mister going since they are in and out. They are laying in the only flower bed along the house that they can get in, it's damp and in the shade and they love it there.
I did spray for flies in the coop and in the goat shed and tack/milk room. I saw this really and I mean REALLY BIG spider go across the floor in my side the other day and I really hate spiders so I bug sprayed.
I have one chicken coughing or... and she has a poopy butt. I've put probiotics in the water twice now and so far she's not doing it as often as she was.
I also filled their food up and scrubbed up the cement tub and leveled the ground under it again and filled up with fresh water. I bought a couple of watermelons yesterday and quartered them and froze them so I could give it to them.
