Our hike in Williams, AZ

We walked out to Pomeroy Tanks one day from the trailhead and walked out to Sycamore Falls from it's trailhead.  The falls were running that day.  It was the first time since we started going that I actually saw the falls running.  A few days later we took the kids back and hiked the mile from Pomeroy Tanks to Sycamore Falls.  It crosses the creek four times.  I made packs for them but the only one fit was his so we are going back to the drawing board.  They can't wear full packs yet but this worked for our extra bottles of water.  They do need an elastic to hold them in since they both fell out when Dakota came across the creek.

I am always in the rear.  Dahlia is in lead and Dakota behind her.  He actually took lead for a short bit but as soon as she could get back by she was back in front.

They will follow Steve anywhere.

This is the first stream crossing.  Dahlia went across no problem.  As you can see, Dakota stayed on the other side.  We kept going and he bellowed, we went a bit further and called to him, he came down stream on other side and finally you could see the look on his face when he decided that if he didn't cross we would leave him.  I didn't get pictures of that, but it was awesome.  We crossed 3 more times and he never even slowed down, went across the first two, the last he went across before any of us.  He won't get left behind again, I guess.
