has come and gone. We will have to try again. I'm not too sorry because the timing was all wrong anyway. It will be easier to sell baby goats in the spring than in the fall either way. Kids are looking for 4-H projects in the spring so we will try the breeding again. The only thing that sucks is no one is around me that has a registered buck so we will have to drive to Phoenix twice to take my goats and pick up my goats but at least I know my breeder has a disease free herd and she's awesome! The good thing is she's not charging me a stud fee again, this one is free.
I had not seen her go in heat for the 5 months she was pregnant but I'm sure she was last week so I'll track the next couple of months and try again in Oct/Nov. Meanwhile we have gone camping and done some hikes in Williams. I need to write a post on our hiking trip from Pomeroy Tank to Sycamore Falls but I'll do that another day.
