And Ducks, Too...

My sister is moving and can't have her ducks where she lives so I'm Duck sitting.  Pancake, female, came with medicine because of swollen legs, she was limping very badly.  I set up their little pen next to a smaller pen I already had and Prince, male, is in that one.  He kept dunking her under in their little pool and we thought he had hurt her.
I bought a book on Ducks: Storey's Guide to Ducks and from reading it, I'm sure that the mixture she's been feeding them doesn't have the vitamins and minerals they need.  It was mostly corn which is okay in the winter but it makes them fat and warms their bodies up.  They are now on a duck feed and scarfing it down.  Her leg is much better now.  This first shot is the area I already had made that I use for young chickens.  This is Prince.

I put them side by side, Prince gets the left and Pancake gets their original enclosure.

They lay side by side on their own side of the fence and swim together.
