A Quilting We Will Go

I have done one quilt on my new Tin Lizzie. I finished the Pink Block Party throw, I'll add a photo later today and now my Red Chevron is loaded.  I'm trying out my second pantogram and I have two more on the way.  I jumped into pantogram's with both feet.  I thought last night, I should have done a couple of quilts without pantogram's to get used to the machine first, but not me.  I always do everything the hard way.  I'm determined to learn to follow those lines!
I have three quilts to do for a friend, I picked them up yesterday.  I'm going to charge half a penny an inch under the normal price.  Normal is .02 an inch and I'm going to charge .15 an inch.  I figured out how much my batting cost me and will just charge a rounded off price for it.  I'm not out to make money on the batting.  She sent along binding which I will sew down to the front of the quilts and then hand sew.  She told me she didn't care if I machine sewed them.  I responded with, I don't like the line of sewing the binding down with the machine.  I do it while watching TV anyway so it's no big deal.
This person also has my last dog, they are getting along great.  Tipsy is very happy there and Jean is very happy with Tipsy.  Yesterday, she said, she's really a house dog.  She only goes outside to do her business and wants right back in.  Yes, she never went outside with me like Molly does.  Molly will leave a bowl of food to go out with me.  Tipsy would inhale the food and stay in the house.

A close up of the throw.  It will be raffled off in October.

My first big quilt with the Tin Lizzie and a pantograph.

The quilt under the foil.  I have cats and my Maine Coone, Trouble, thinks that a quilt on the frame is a big hammock.  Foil deters him as long as I attach it on the sides with a clip, otherwise he lifts it up and goes under.  I got the pretty backing you can see on the roll at Connecting Threads.
