It seems like I have had no time to myself lately. My quilt group went to Las Vegas last week to a quilt show and we stayed in a time share for two days. We all had a good time.
I bought Red Snappers to put onto my new leaders for my quilt frame. I bought the new canvas for my leaders and haven't had the time to put them together yet and when I saw this system at the show, it just popped in my head, I need these. My leaders on my Suzy Q frame came with unfinished sides. I am going to finish all sides so the new ones don't pull out of shape and put in pockets for the Red Snappers.
I had four quilts here to get done and am down to one to go but it is for charity so I will do it after I get the new leaders put on. I ripped two fingers this week with the pins on the leaders and am totally tired of getting stabbed in the belly. :)
My log cabins are still not put together, I do have the rows sewn together but need to get them pinned but making money tops making my own quilts, although one will be sold. Its all a matter of priority.
I also have the home and garden show coming in two weeks and need to dig up plants and pot them up for it. I have Maximillion Sunflowers and Orange Daylilies waiting for me to pot up and about a dozen small cactus that I dug out of a garden clubs yard waiting for me to pot up.
Oh, and I pick up my new baby mini lamancha in a little over two weeks! I'm excited!
I also need to weed all my flower beds, that is going to be fun and I can't put it off any longer! Need to get all this quilting done and the yard done.
Jo's second quilt on the frame, the fabrics remind me of men's ties so I used this pantograph that kind of looks like sawblades.
