Happy Valentine's Day!

We went running this am.  First to the recycle place to drop off the bag of plastics, to the bank to cash a check.  Every time aI go to the bank I get pissed off.  To do anything at all they want your debit card.  If I deposit money, they want my debit card.  Today, for the first time when I cashed a check I sent my debit card, my account number is on the back with my signature and what?  Now they also want my ID.  Mind you, my picture is on the front of my debit card, isn't that ID?  On with the rest of the trip.  We went to Sally's Beauty because I need my hair done yet again to cover the gray.  I'm trying to decide what to do when a nice lady says, you don't want to color all your hair you just need to touch up the roots.  Doing it all will kill your hair and she shows me the bowl and brush to get.  I don't need the bottles, well, I do want the bottles because we needed one for the stupid wood glue to go in because every time we get a new bottle the lid breaks and it ends up with a plastic baggie on top.  So, we transferred the wood glue to the salon bottle, hopefully it will last.
Now, back to the rest of the story...
We end up talking and I tell her I like her hair and tell her I'm just trying to hide my gray and I went to someone last year for a weave and you couldn't hardly tell the difference between the hair colors she used.  I really liked the color of the lady of whom I was talking to.  I finally asked her where she worked and she told me Hot Shots.  Hmmm, that is in the shopping center right next to where I work.  I asked for a card and finished my purchases and left.  On to Smiths for some groceries...
On the way home I decide to call  her and I get an appointment in an hour.  She colored my hair, which turned out awesome, then talked me into cutting an inch or so off the back and did some LONG layering.  She also showed me how to get it to look fuller and I absolutely love it.  It is the first haircut and color I've  had in a very long time that I'm totally in love with.  I will keep going to her as she was wonderful to even help me while I was standing in the beauty store.  I gotta say, I totally suck at trying to take a picture of myself!  But the second pic is the best to see the colors.

PS I rode my scooter today, I haven't got to ride in a long time as it's been VERY cold.  It was cool today but I didn't totally freeze!
