Old Gold
I'm a jewelry addict and I admit it. Among my hobbies I make jewelry, I love earrings, necklaces and rings. My rings are all gold and I have a couple of silver. Steve and I had matching chains for the longest time until he lost his and I got tired of paying $30 or so to get the clasp repaired. We then went with the lifetime guarantee ones that oh, it only covers the chain, not the clasp. So, I wear junk jewelry now and he wears his gold chain with a junk clasp. It is cheaper for me to fix it than take it to the jeweler. :) Anyways, I had stuff that is broken or missing stuff sitting that won't or can't be worn. My sister had just taken her old gold stuff to the jewelers and they gave her $800 for her pieces. I thought? Okay? I went through my stuff. I had our first wedding band that is rail thin, a herringbone bracelet, a neck chain, and a ring that had so many repairs it wasn't funny and the diamond was missing. I got $150, better than having it sit in my jewelry box, right?
