Quilting & Happy Mother's Day!

I have like two more rows to go and almost done with the one I'm on when my bobbin starts doing weird things.  I honestly think it is from winding my own bobbins.  I never have this trouble with the Bottom Line pre-wounds I get.  But, I ran out so loaded my own with the bobbin winder that came with my Elvira.  Elvira is a Homesteader that is black and beautiful. :)  I have a couple of feet to rip out which is not fun so I saved it for this afternoon unless I have to work more hours.  We will see.  I have a four and a half hour shift and I told Linda I could work more today if needed and on Tuesday since I'll be off the next two weeks after Wednesday.

I was just off the last three days and we basically took it easy, no yard work.  I should say no major yard work.  I did rake out the chicken runs and turn the pellets inside the coop itself over.

I made cards yesterday for my three girls for Mother's Day.  Rachel's will be late since it isn't mailed yet but then I'm usually behind.  Guess I should start thinking about her birthday that is a month away. :)

We are also debating on solar.  We had two different companies come out and give us a quote.  The first one hasn't gotten back to us yet and we emailed them all our electric bills from over a week ago.  The second one came out, gave us a quote, and actually knew what they were talking about.  Steve has done his figuring and one account we had put away for a later day will probably pay for it.
