Marilyn got this started quilt from somewhere and I told her I would quilt it for her. It was put together with safety pins and basted together. It wasn't until I started to undo the pins and thread that I realized it had been quilted in the middle already with a sewing machine. That made it harder and it already had some loose sections and small folds. I did as good as I could and stretched it as I went to try and smooth it in and it came out pretty good. The front looks fine and there are a couple of puckers in the back but did come out better than I expected it would. I trimmed all the extra's off when I finished quilting it and had enough of the backing pieces that I made into strips for the binding.
